RELEASE OF DRAFT PART 150 STUDY UPDATE AND UPCOMING PUBLIC MEETING \u2013 SEPTEMBER 18 & 19, 2024<\/span><\/h2><\/div>

The Draft Part 150 Study Update for CLT is now available for public review \u2014 click here to view the document<\/a>. There will be two in-person Public Information Meetings and concurrent Public Hearings in September 2024. The Public Information Meetings will update the public on the draft Noise Exposure Maps and proposed draft Noise Compatibility Program. The Public Hearings are an opportunity for the public to make verbal statements regarding the Draft Part 150 Study Update. Comments received on the Draft Part 150 Study Update at the Public Hearings and by mail\/email through October 4, 2024 will become part of the Final Part 150 Study Noise Compatibility Study Update document to be submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for review.<\/p>\n

The Public Information Meetings\/Hearings will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the Goodwill Opportunity Campus, 5301 Wilkinson Blvd, Charlotte, NC 2820; and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Embassy Suites by Hilton Charlotte, 4800 South Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28217. The meetings will be open-house style, with the project team and technical experts on hand to answer questions and gather comments on the material presented. The same information will be presented both nights. The Public Informational Meetings were open-house style during which boards identifying the status of the Part 150, the work completed to date, and the next steps for the Part 150 process were displayed.
